The program will consist of three activities that will involve ongoing schedule of activities involving awareness sessions, training of youth, online content, and mentoring and coaching competition and also provide a platform for early stage entrepreneurs to validate their ideas. The program is split into Three pillars: Innovate Sindh: A series of on ongoing ideathon that will be held every two months to foster exploration of entrepreneurship and innovation Enterprise Sindh: a 16 week (5 month) business plan competition will be held annually to encourage good ideas and startups, and to help nurture fledgling businesses to develop and accelerate. Build Sindh: Build Sindh is a 2 day conference and Expo held as a culmination of celebration of the year-long events leading to recognizing the best districts, startups, entrepreneurs and ideas. As well to develop a forward looking agenda for the next year. The event will include keynotes from various dignitaries and industry experts, panel discussions on the focus areas of the program, result announcements and prize distribution.

Objectives:

• To develop mindset for innovation and culture of entrepreneurship • To address issues faced by Sindh in various areas of underdevelopment and help support the teams, individuals and mentors that can help solve these issues through innovation and entrepreneurship. • To diffuse basic skillsets required to identify opportunities, and actualize and grow a venture. • To identify potential opportunities that might grow to become Pakistani unicorns

To enable youth of Sindh to own their own growth prospects and create their own opportunities, it is proposed that an annual sustained effort of developing entrepreneurial and innovation skills within the youth and academia at local universities. The aim is to create examples of successful startups to kick start a positive movement amongst the best minds enrolled in universities to develop an entrepreneurial mindset, take controlled risks and nurture their creativity to find innovative solutions to the problems at hand.

Potential areas of work will be based on a theme selection for a cycle. However, potential themes or solution tracks will focus on impact on the developmental problems of Sindh. The potential opportunity tracks suggested are: • Improving Output for Industries: Agriculture, livestock and fisheries, environment, Health improvement, Food and nutrition, • Increasing Access to Micro business and lending, Housing and shelter, Transport and logistics, employment. Security, law and order. • Modernizing Industries through technologies i.e. Engineering and technology for development. Tourism, culture, arts and crafts. Education

Thematic Areas would in general require coming up with Solutions to existing local/national level problems which may involve Value Addition, Market Expansion, Productivity/Yield enhancement, Waste and Cost Reduction, Import Substitution, Social Uplift and overall Economic Growth of their particular locality, city and/or Pakistan. This would be done by the Application/Introduction of Products, Services, Technologies, Processes, Business Models, etc. by:

1. Adoption: Application/Introduction of Products, Services, Technologies, Processes, Business Models that already exist in other parts of Pakistan, region or the world, but may be new to a particular locality, city, or Pakistan.
2. Adaptation: Modification of Products, Services, Technologies, Processes, Business Models that already exist in other parts of Pakistan, region or the world to suite local conditions and then Application/Introduction in a locality, city or Pakistan.
3. Creation: Coming up new Products, Services, Technologies, Processes and Business Models that do not exists anywhere in world; then Application/Introduction of the same in a locality, city or Pakistan.
